Unique items up for grabs in fundraising auction

Thu, Apr 3rd, 2014

By Brent Davis,Record staff, The Waterloo Region Record

You'd expect to see signed memorabilia at a celebrity sports auction.

But how about a signed Montreal Canadiens jersey that Hall of Fame goalie Ken Dryden will personalize for the winning bidder?

Or a copy of Prime Minister (and rabid hockey fan) Stephen Harper's book, A Great Game, also personally inscribed to its new owner?

Those are just a couple of the unique items up for grabs at a fundraising auction in New Hamburg this weekend.
