A superb group of readers and musicians brightened the Christmas season for a near-capacity audience on December 11. The occasion was the eighth annual New Hamburg Dickens' Christmas Carol reading, a joint project of Zion United and St. George's Anglican churches, produced as a volunteer effort by New Hamburg Live! Five of Canada's finest actors arrived from Niagara on the Lake, Toronto and Stratford to bring the famous story to life.
