Vicki St. Pierre’s warm, lush voice “invitingly combines clarity of expression and beauty of tone,” and is described as “rich with both a darkness and brightness.”

Recent engagements include performances of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the Toronto Philharmonic Orchestra, Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610 with the Toronto Consort, Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea with Opera Atelier, Zelenka’s St. Cecilia Mass with Tafelmusik, Dido and Aeneas with Ensemble Masques de Montreal, and Handel’s Messiah in Halifax with Symphony Nova Scotia. Upcoming engagements include Bach’s Mass in B Minor at Festival of the Sound, Messiah in Victoria, Handel’s Dixit Dominus with Tafelmusik, and the music of Jommelli with Les Idées Heureuses of Montreal.

Past concert highlights include Messiah with the Edmonton Symphony, Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and Elora Festival Singers, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony with the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir, Stanford’s Requiemwith the Orpheus Choir, Mozart’s Requiem with the Toronto Philharmonia Orchestra, Mendelssohn’s Elijah in Orillia and with the Menno Singers, and Bach’s Magnificat with the Toronto Bach Consort. On the operatic stage, Ms. St Pierre has appeared in Monteverdi’s Orfeo, Charpentier’s Actéon, and Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in Patria with Opera Atelier, Rossini’s Il Barbiere di Siviglia with Toronto Philharmonia, and Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea with Cleveland Opera and Early Music Vancouver.

Vicki has also given many Canadian and world premieres, including Ned Rorem’s Evidence of Things Not Seen, Steve Reich’s You Are with Soundstreams Canada, and Galbraith’s Let Evening Come and Minden’s L’ombrewith the Talisker Players.
